A DID (Direct Inward Dialing) number is a phone number that people can call to reach your organization. When someone dials your DID, Astradial routes the call to the right place — an extension, a queue, or an AI bot.

View your phone numbers

Go to Phone Numbers in the sidebar under Deploy. You will see two tabs:
  • My Numbers — Phone numbers assigned to your organization
  • Buy a Number — Available numbers you can request from the admin

Add a phone number (self-hosted)

If you are running Astradial on your own server:
1

Click Add Number

Click the Add Number button (plus icon) in the top-right corner.
2

Enter the phone number

Type the full phone number including country code. Example: +918065978015

Add a description

Give it a name so you can recognize it later. Example: “Main reception line”
4

  4. Your request goes to the admin for approval
  5. Once approved, the number appears in your My Numbers tab
You can cancel a pending request from the Pending Approval section on the My Numbers tab.

Configure routing

To change how calls to a number are handled:
  1. In the My Numbers tab, find the number you want to configure
  2. Click the three-dot menu and select Configure Routing
  3. Update the routing type and destination
