Click-to-call lets you start a phone call from the dashboard without picking up a phone. Astradial calls the first party, and when they answer, connects them to the second party.

How it works

  1. You specify a From (who gets called first) and a To (who gets connected after)
  2. Astradial rings the “From” party first
  3. When they answer, Astradial rings the “To” party
  4. When both answer, they are connected in a call

Initiate a call

1

Click Initiate Call

On the Calls page, click the Initiate Call button (phone icon) in the top-right area.
2

Set the From (rings first)

Choose who gets called first:
  • Extension — Select a user from your organization
  • Phone Number — Enter a 10-digit phone number
3

Set the To (connected after)

Choose who gets connected after the first party answers:
  • Extension — Select a user
  • Queue — Select a call queue
  • Phone Number — Enter a phone number
4

Select a Caller ID

Choose which of your phone numbers (DIDs) to show as the caller ID to the “To” party. If you only have one DID, it is auto-selected.
5

Click Call

Astradial initiates the call. You will see a confirmation message: “Call initiated — ringing ‘From’ first, then connecting to ‘To’.”
