How it works
- You specify a From (who gets called first) and a To (who gets connected after)
- Astradial rings the “From” party first
- When they answer, Astradial rings the “To” party
- When both answer, they are connected in a call
Initiate a call
Click Initiate Call
On the Calls page, click the Initiate Call button (phone icon) in the top-right area.
Set the From (rings first)
Choose who gets called first:
- Extension — Select a user from your organization
- Phone Number — Enter a 10-digit phone number
Set the To (connected after)
Choose who gets connected after the first party answers:
- Extension — Select a user
- Queue — Select a call queue
- Phone Number — Enter a phone number
Select a Caller ID
Choose which of your phone numbers (DIDs) to show as the caller ID to the “To” party. If you only have one DID, it is auto-selected.
